Prophetic music part 2 is coming...

Shawn linked to my web journal today, so my readership just jumped up 10-fold pretty quickly. I quietly launched my site last Friday, and figured it wouldn't take too long for somebody to notice that it was up :)

As a result, I'm going to continue my series on prophetic music in the next few days. I've been in New Hampshire the past few days raising support and reconnecting with my old church family. It's given me some more time to talk about and think about the church's desperate need for musicians and singers operating under the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

Make sure you read the first post in the series.

On a website note, what do you think? What parts do you like or would like to see more of? What parts are lacking? What makes sense? What doesn't make sense? Feedback is good...

Josh Hawkins has a Blog

Josh Hawkins has a Blog now?!?!?

Well, if I have read my apocalyptic scriptures right I believe this is the last sign before the end of the age can begin.

No? Well, pretty close.

Welcome to the blogging world, Josh. The site looks good, expect to see me regularly.

Congrats Aaron

You are the proud recipient of the "first comment on Josh's web journal" award!

I actually started blogging back in September 06 on a private, hidden blog. See the archives in the sidebar for some of my ancient, disconnected thoughts!

It was just recently that I decided to unveil it to the world. :)

yeah buddy!! You've finally

yeah buddy!! You've finally revealed your blog! I feel like I'm reading a diary someone had kept hidden for years...well, minus all the "dear diary.." openings.

I gotta say, the website is a super nice upgrade from the previous one. I really love the header and its sense of professionalism. The ONLY criticism I have is that the page headers don't seem to fit the look of the rest of the site, you know?

Good job though, man!

Thanks Evan!

Thanks bro, I'm really glad you like it.

Since I am more of a programmer than a designer, the page headers were my amateur designer attempt at adding some color other than the various shades of tan/brown to pages of the site. There are definitely some that kind of stick out probably don't fit the feel of the site, I'll admit. If you've got any good suggestions, I'll definitely entertain them!

I think I was coming down to the date I had set in my head for the launch too and just wanted to get it done :)

Anyways, it hopefully is just one of those minor little things that won't detract from the real point of my site - to help people fall more in love with Jesus!
