A new series: Prophetic Musician Interviews
Over the past year, the readership of the prophetic music posts on my blog has gone up tremendously. I really feel like the Lord is forming part of my life message as I've written on it. I've connected with several other musicians here at IHOP who have the same heart and mind when it comes to the spirit of prophecy on their music. Because there really are not that many other people writing consistently on these issues, I've decided to start a new series - "Prophetic Musician Interviews".
My goal is to give you, my reader, another voice and perspective on prophetic music at the end of the age. I'll be interviewing worship leaders, singers, and musicians from IHOP who have a heart to see the spirit of prophecy on their music and song. I'll be asking them both theological and practical questions relating to their journey into the heart of God through music.
Some of the interviews to come include ones with Gabriel Hancock, drummer for Jon Thurlow, Seth Yates, electric guitar player for Cory Asbury and Matt Gilman, and Justin Rizzo, worship leader. Keep your bookmarks handy and check back often. I hope you are encouraged by them!
In the meantime, be sure to read the rest of my posts on prophetic music.

Nathan Panke's jazz worship music
Joshua, do you know where I can get the music to a set done in the prayer room on April 7th., 2008 @2:00pm Nathan Panke's set. I had never heard great jazzy music put to worship like that! Can you direct me to Nathan's dialog station or forward the Blog on to him? I was very impressed with his great style of worship music.
Thanks,
Tim Nations

P.S. I was there in the Prayer Room on 4-7-08, 2pm, and I wanted to bring some of that music back to Dallas, but cannot seem to sucure a copy of a DVD/CD or MP3 of that 2hr. set!
Hey Tim, Because of the 24/7
Hey Tim,
Because of the 24/7 nature of IHOP, there is rarely a recording of a particular 2-hour set that's publically available. You could put in a request for part of it on the next Limited Edition, and they might include that set if it gets enough votes.
Check out www.ihop.org/limitededition
Josh
there's a chance I could get that set on CD.
Tim and Josh,
This Is Panke. I had media record the set. There might be a way to get it out somehow.
Josh you know how to reach me.

The Panke's Jazz Worship Music
Hey, Josh I saw Nathan's comment; I would be interested in buying the CD, if you could find a way to get me a copy. Just let me know. Mainly interested in the Jazz Worship style/music.
I really liked the stuff you were doing that day I visited the IHOP 2pm service, back in April 3rd.,2008. I think a couple of the songs you were doing were "Worhsip the Lord" & "He is great in Power, great in Love".
P.S. Send me an email with instructions on how to get a copy of that set you guys did that Thursday 4-3-2008 2pm!
Regards,
