If you're a young adult and you're still deciding on whether or not to come to onething Kansas City in December or if you've decided not to come this year, Mike Bickle is urging as many as are able to come and even change their plans so they are able to come. Mike said he would be making "real, defining statements about the hour that we're living in." He's going to be speaking much on the book of Revelation and the need to prepare for the coming days.
We are living in "such pressuring days for a generation to go light" on things, Lou Engle said "don't anybody rock the boat."
"We feel like we are going to take this conference beyond the message of intimacy", Mike said, which has been the primary focus of the onething conference since its inception about 8 years ago. We will never "graduate" from the first commandment, but this is a season of preparation that the Lord is leading us into.
Mike's focus is getting messengers ready that tell the truth. There are shepherds in the body of Christ today that are telling lies at so many levels - lies about how to get saved, what the mandate of the kingdom is, and what God wants to do with the young generation that's emerging, etc.
The Lord is clearly emphasizing the need to know and to prepare now for the coming days. I've been an avid student of the book of Revelation and of what the Bible has to say about the future for the past few years, so I'm excited about this shift.
Expect some more end of the age related posts as the weeks and months progress!
