Bad news... my laptop was stolen!

Well, I'm here in Orlando, Florida at the onething conference here, and Matt Gilman led worship tonight. It was a powerful time!

But the bad news is that my laptop was stolen out of the green room. (I'm using Justin Rizzo's laptop to write this...) I went to go worship in the auditorium for about 30 minutes and when I returned to the green room to get some water, I noticed that my laptop was gone.

I know this is an attack of the enemy, and I know that the Lord is watching how my heart responds in the midst of this little bump in the road of life.

I am confident in the Lord. He provided the laptop for me almost a year ago when my old one died, and I'm confident He will provide again or return the old one. My treasure is in heaven, and the things that I have in this life are nothing compared to what Jesus will reward me with on the day I see Him!

I bless whoever it is that stole my laptop! May the Lord bring conviction to your heart and then encounter you with His kindness and His goodness.

Matthew 5:19-20 says "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasures is, there your heart will be also."

Pray for me if you would - pray that I will have grace to keep my heart free of offense and discouragement, and that I would give Jesus my love in this whole process.

Your heart response is amazing!

You're awesome Hawk!!

Lord we pray in Jesus name that whomever stole Joshua's laptop will have a radical life-changing encounter with your kindness that would lead them to full repentance, and even a returning of Josh's laptop to him.

We know it is only an earthly laptop, but one that has been used countless hours to praise your name - Lord in your mercy bring justice!

Let that which was stolen from your son be returned even today, in Jesus' holy name!

Bless you for your faithfulness in the midst Joshua ...

Thanks man!

Whoever stole it will definitely be encountered by the Lord, I'm sure of that...

The Lord has a plan in all of this, and at the end of the day it will make my heart more alive. So in a strange way I am actually glad that this happened!

Hebrews 10:34-35 is my confession...

Although we miss the heavenly sounds from your mac, but your playing of piano this week is extra anointed... must be because your response has touched God's Heart.

Josh,

I just have to say that I admire your heart's response, which really has spoken straight to my heart in regards to how I would react in such situation. I'm praying that you would not be discouraged and that He would provide as He's done in previous times. If you ever need a computer to use, feel free to come over, we have a couple of desktops available :-).

Bless you!
Gedy
