The desire of the Father is that Jesus would utterly possess the hearts of those whom He has created. When the Father says to Jesus:

“Ask of Me, and I will give You
The nations for Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth for Your possession.”
(Psalm 2:8 NKJV)

The Father is not telling Jesus to ask for land. He already owns all of the real estate on the earth. Jesus’ inheritance is voluntary lovers.

It's day 1 of our 3 day monthly fast, and my stomach is making its usual weird fasting noises. But my spirit feels alive this afternoon and the Lord is highlighting this one thing to me over and over:

I need understanding that the greatest pleasure, joy, and freedom is found in taking the low road in humility in every situation.

Just some random thoughts today, I hope you can make sense of them.

“He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me.And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me.”

Mike Bickle has been teaching at IHOP recently on false ideas we have about the grace of God. I think this is one of the most important things to have straight in our minds and hearts, lest we fall into deception as Peter and Jude warned us:
