This is clearly a loaded

This is clearly a loaded question. :)

I would love some dialogue on the topic before I start a series on my blog, so I would love you to leave me comments on why you voted the way you did!

Is the kingdom now or later, or both? If it's now, to what extent? If it's later, to what extent or to what fullness? How do you define "kingdom"?

I would love a bunch of scriptures as to why you think what you do too.

Let the fun begin!

Kingdom of God

Dear Josh

Praise God!

I have been praying, studying and writing about the Kingdom of God for years. Please visit our ministry web site at: www.kingdombuildingdisciples.org and read our FREE Downloads including discipleship training materials.

Josh, I have been very blessed by your ministry while I served at IHOP KC. I really enjoy your bag pipes.

God bless you

Luke 17:21

...nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you."

Very odd verse..

A lot of people take this

A lot of people take this verse out of context and think that Jesus is redefining the kingdom of God to some spiritual thing inside of your heart. But context is key my brother... Another key is knowing that "within you" is also translated as "in your midst".

Read that verse again, and look who He is talking to!

He is telling the Pharisees "guys, the King is right in front of you and you don't even see it. You guys are not going to see the kingdom. You are blind."

After He makes that statement, He then turns right to His disciples and says "here's how My kingdom is going to come. Here's all of the signs."

Does that help?

Kingdom is...

The Kingdom (as if we can know), is the actual realm that God exists. I believe it is here on earth in an unseen realm, but we have full access to it in our spirit, and can manifest things from it to the current earthly realm in limited aspects.

When I hear the "kingdom of

When I hear the "kingdom of God" I think of a network of people in the spiritual realm, connected from coast to coast, country to country, connected by God's Spirit. And I see the kingdom of God like lights turning on as people come to know Jesus. And the lights get brighter and brighter as we go deeper and know more intimacy with the man Christ Jesus. That's what I think of.
