After His resurrection, the Jesus appears to His disciples several times, giving undeniable proof that He has risen from the dead. This episode details the final two appearances recorded by the Gospels, including His appearance to Thomas as well as to the disciples on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Jesus' well-known, three-times repeated words to Peter, "do you love me?" are also examined.

Jesus opens up the minds of the disciples to understand all that was written in the Law, Prophets, and Psalms concerning His suffering. This episode looks at Jesus' words from Luke 24.

After His resurrection, Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene and two pilgrims on the road to Emmaus. The Gospels record these events as having happened on Sunday, the day following the Sabbath. This episode examines the details of each scene and connects Jesus' resurrection to the expectation of the Jews.

While all four of the Gospels give unique details surrounding the events of Jesus' resurrection from the dead, and while those details can be difficult to perfectly harmonize, each of the authors affirm the importance of the resurrection event as the confirmation that Jesus was who He claimed to be, and that God would be faithful to everything He had promised in the Law and the Prophets.

Jesus died on a Friday ("the Preparation Day") and was buried before the beginning of the Sabbath (Saturday) by Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus. These two men feared God and were well-respected members of the Sanhedrin, the Jewish ruling council. This episode examines the details of Jesus' burial from all four Gospels.

Around the 9th hour or 3pm on Friday of Passion Week, Jesus utters a number of phrases recorded by the Gospels and breathes His last. This episode looks into the final moments of His life and details the important phrases He spoke as He hung on the cross from John 19 and Matthew 27.

The Gospels indicate that darkness covered the land for three hours as Jesus hung on the cross. And nearing the final moments of His life, Jesus utters the well-known cry, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?", quoting Psalm 22. According to Matthew's Jesus is mocked and derided by four separate groups as He hung on the cross. The Gospels detail Jesus' words with the robbers/rebels crucified with Him, one of whom believes Jesus has not done anything wrong.
