Prophetic Music at the End of the Age - Part 2

There are two worship movements being raised up as we speak. Both worship movements will have music that deeply moves the human heart. Both worship movements will make people laugh, cry, and cause people’s desires and passions to be stirred to worship someone. Both worship movements will be powerful and will even demonstrate supernatural signs and wonders.

But the one being worshipped is the major difference in these two movements being raised up. All of the grey areas will be removed when each movement is at its pinnacle. All of the inhabitants of the earth will be given a choice whether to worship Jesus or worship Satan. Worship can be stated simply as a pledge of one’s loyalty and devotion. The great war in the Spirit is over the passion of your heart and who will fully possess it. Both worship movements are fully focused on winning your heart when all is said and done. (Read my article entitled: Establishing our identity in the truth.)

What is the purpose of these two worship movements? Jesus is not coming back in a vacuum, but only in response to global, unified worship and prayer where a people under the anointing of the Holy Spirit ask Jesus to return. Perhaps one of the most important prophecies in the Bible is in Revelation 22:17:

“And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.”
(Rev 22:17 NKJV)

The Holy Spirit’s worship movement will reach a great crescendo just prior to Jesus’ second coming as the Spirit and the Bride cry out for Jesus to come. When the saints are in unity in sustained worship and prayer all around the globe crying “let your kingdom come”, Jesus will answer from heaven and return to establish His kingdom on the earth. This is the ultimate purpose of Jesus’ worship movement. Jesus wants a Bride longing for Him as much as He is longing for her, and will not return unless she has been made white, purified, and refined (Daniel 12:10).

But Satan is trying to minimize the true worship movement. He also loves worship. Even if he wasn’t trying to stop something from happening that he knows will hurt him and secure him in the lake of fire forever, he loves worship and wants to be God.

Because of this, Satan is moving extensively in the arena of music. He is revving up and preparing the cohorts of hell to aid him at every turn. He takes the end-time worship movement much more seriously than many believers in Jesus do. He knows his lease on the earth is up when Jesus comes in an answer to night and day worship and prayer.

As a result, Hell is spewing out so much dark music today, but much of it is clothed as angels of light. At its core it is demonic and not born of the Spirit of God. In an attempt to convince humans that God is not trustworthy and is a liar, Satan’s music and worship movement will be filled with so much deception. The spirit behind his music will seem so “good” and “right”, full of a humanistic agenda apart from God and exalting the glory of man. The Word of God makes it clear that many will be deceived and will give Satan their loyalty and affection because of this movement.
