The Glory of God and Night and Day Prayer
God's own glorification - simply being praised and adored by the works of His hands - is His supreme purpose in all of creation. Humanity was created to serve this purpose. Though we have departed from this purpose, God is fiercely committed to His glory and will not allow anything else to be seen as more deserving of honor and allegiance than Himself.
In light of God's plan to put His glory on display through His Son Jesus, we can better evaluate the reason for a groundswell of night and day prayer across the earth today. Without this foundational understanding, the call to night and day prayer loses its potency.
In this teaching, Josh brings clarity to these subjects and casts vision for ceaseless worship of the only One worthy - Jesus.
This teaching was given at International House of Prayer Eastern Gate in September 2011.
