The Worship and Prayer Movement at the End of the Age

in

Audio details

Track length: 01:03:09
Author: Stephen Venable

In this teaching, IHOPU dean Stephen Venable gives the foundational biblical principles and solid reason for the seemingly spontaneous gatherings of believers all across the world to engage in unceasing prayer and worship. Steven explains that because history has a purposeful end where all of creation acknowledges that Jesus is God and He alone has the preeminence, the worship and prayer movement must be looked at in that light.

I'd highly recommend this teaching for anyone wanting to gain biblical perspective on how the Lord is moving on the earth today. The 24/7 prayer movement is not just the latest fad in the body of Christ. It's a move completely orchestrated by the Holy Spirit to bring the earth into the perpetual, unceasing worship of Jesus that is happening in heaven. More than the great need for revival in the church or the ending of injustices, the Holy Spirit is pointing us towards a "Breathtaking Beauty" as the centerpiece that knows no rivals. There is truly no one more deserving of all of our attention all of the time than Jesus is.

Stephen taught this at IHOP-KC in September, 2008.
