On the way to Jerusalem for the final Passover feast of His ministry, Jesus is asked by Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come. Jesus responds by correcting the Pharisees' understanding of how it would come, then turns to His disciples and describes it fully. This episode examines one of the most misunderstood passages in the Gospels from Luke 17.

Luke tells us about another person who meets Mary, Joseph, and Jesus in the Temple when Jesus was about 40 days old - an aged widow named Anna. She too was righteous and waiting for God to redeem Jerusalem just as the Scriptures had spoken. Anna was a regular attender of the public and private Temple services, and is presented as yet another picture of the remnant of Israel who were waiting for the fulfillment of God's promises to the nation.

A lot of musicians in the church these days are talking more and more about “prophetic” music. The very nature of a prophetic musician or singer is one who prophesies. What is prophecy?
