As Jesus' disciples were baptizing, a dispute arises between John's disciples and a Jew over purification. John the Baptist gives a noble answer to them, calling himself a "friend of the bridegroom". In 2 Corinthians 11, the Apostle Paul warned of others who would come and preach "another Jesus" - a different version of Jesus than the glorious Jesus he had told them about. In this second episode of this series, I discuss the importance of the Gospels in knowing the Jesus of the Bible. If we put our faith in Jesus and desire to grow in friendship with Him, we must know Him as the scriptures present Him, not the way our culture does.
